SpeakOut! 2.0 is a website dedicated to perpetuating the positive cycle of creative writing: inspiration, writing, feedback and publication. Many writers who took part in the SpeakOut! Workshops expressed interest in continuing their writing. The goal of this website is to offer a place where SpeakOut! Members can continue to submit work, receive feedback and publish on the SpeakOut! 2.0 blog.
OUR STATEMENT
The Speak Out! Writing workshops allow writers to explore who and where they are in their lives through creative expression. The primary philosophy of this program is that every person has a story to tell; each has words that are valuable and necessary. We encourage each writer to tell her own story and represent his own experiences on paper. SpeakOut! 2.0 will focus on enacting change through writing experiences and the publication of this blog via the internet.
